Dr Joe Dispenza

Hello Everyone

Usually, l tell you stories about people from history, but this is a far more modern story.  This is about a person you may never have heard of.

Dr Joe Dispenza is known for curing diseases and maladies that conventional medicine has not been able to cure.

He is a doctor, researcher, lecturer and author.

He claims to have healed many people with his special ideas.

Desperate people attend his seminars (lessons for grown-ups) and workshops (practical lessons) in order to hear what he has to say when they want to heal their illnesses.

There are many testaments to how his methods have worked to cure people on You Tube.

lt all started when Dr Joe Dispenza was in a terrible bike accident in 1986.

The doctors thought he would never walk again.

The surgeons wanted to do surgery on him to rebuild his spine, but he was convinced that he could cure himself in a gentler, non-invasive way.

Through much determination he managed to heal himself beyond all the doctors’ expectations.

He believed in mind over matter.

ln just over ten weeks, he was walking again.

ln twelve weeks, he was back living his normal life.

The doctors were amazed.

He set off on a quest to tell other people about what he had done.

He spent years telling people about his ideas.

He told people that the way people think has an enormous effect on your health and the way you live your life.  That if you carry forward past hurts and trauma you can ruin your future.  lt is better to let them go, and focus on the present moment.

He told his audiences about how experiments have increased our knowledge of neuroscience.  Same thought patterns and habits cause a brain to stay the same; but trying new things can change its form – this is called neuro-plasticity.

He explained how new thoughts and environments can change your life.

Famous people in history who have been game-changers (people who change the world) had vision about the future before they created it.  And anyone can do the same thing.

Your thoughts have to be bigger than your familiar environment, and you have to be willing to try new things.  Children can be better at doing this than adults sometimes.

The brain is connected to all parts of the body and if you can change your mind, you can change your body.  The mind is your brain working.  Your mind creates your personality.

When you learn something new, you make new connections in your brain; so new knowledge can change you.

The way you think and what you know, shapes your life.

You should become conscious of how you think and decide which thoughts you have are of no help to you – and stop thinking them if you want to live a happy life.  Just think – go away bad thoughts!

He also wanted people to know that the body has the most remarkable ability to heal itself.

Stress can make you ill.  The thoughts in your head can make you ill; but thoughts can also make you well.  He proved this when he had his back injury.

He developed techniques that people could use – alongside conventional medicines if they liked.

He developed meditations that acted like hypnosis.  You could hypnotise your mind to affect your body and start a healing process for any ailment you had.

You had to set an intention before you started the meditation so that you could focus on healing a specific problem.

This kind of meditation could work on bad habits as well.  You could break old, bad habits and form new, more-empowering ones.

You could rewire your brain to take control and responsibility for your life and not be a victim of your environment.

You could heal your body and change your life for the better in any way you wanted to.

You don’t have to get ill before you decide to start living a healthy life.

Bye bye everyone – don’t forget to subscribe to my blog!

Love and kisses

If you have any ailments that are troubling you, try this meditation out and see how you get on.  Meditation has become very fashionable in modern times because life has become so fast that human brains need to have a little rest from it.

Set your intention first.

Sit yourself down comfortably first because your mind will get very sleepy and it may be difficult for you to sit up straight when you get into the meditation.

You don’t have to sit on the floor cross-legged!

HOW TO MAKE A LONG TEXTURED SCARF

You will really need to be a good knitter by now to make this scarf.

You need to be the kind of knitter that can pick up any stitches you might drop without difficulty and be able to keep a good rhythm when you are changing between plain and purl stitches.

Although you need to swap between plain and purl stitches constantly as you knit, every row is the same so you can put your knitting down and pick it up again and know where you are.

You will need three whole 100g balls for the adult scarf. Make sure to check that every ball you pick up has the same dye batch number on the ball band.

If you are making a present for a man, you might want to choose a dark colour, but dark colours are more difficult to knit with; you may want to choose a dark blue or brown rather than black.

If you are knitting a scarf for a child, you could buy just two 100g balls.

This pattern won’t suit stripes very well unless you don’t mind the colour change being obvious.

This scarf will take a long time to make, so you had better get started now if you want it by the time the cold winter weather comes!

You can put tassles on the ends, if you want to.

This scarf is very big and there is plenty of knitting to scoop around your neck.

ADULT’S SCARF (KNIT ONE)

Using 4mm knitting needles and dk yarn cast on 61 stitches

Slip 1 (knit 1, purl 1) repeat the last 2 stitches to the end

Just keep knitting until you have your scarf as long as you want it.  To have plenty to wrap around your neck, you will probably use up the whole three balls of yarn.
